cultural history of the Changsha Kingdom and the
significance of the Mawangdui tombs, with highlights of
the artifacts in the exhibition “Noble Tombs at Mawangdui:
Art and Life in the Changsha Kingdom, Third Century
BCE-First Century CE.”
Chen Jianming
is the Director of the Hunan Provincial Museum, Professor
of History and Curator of the exhibition.
Willow Hai Chang
is Director of China Institute’s Gallery, an archaeologist
and Project Director of the exhibition.
